Just came back from uni after around 2 hours of bus waiting+bus riding which would normally take around 40 minutes. There was a massive traffic jam because of the rain. It has been raining for almost 12 hours, crazy. The dreaded hot weather which I detest has finally came to an end and I welcome the arrival of jackets and tights. But I can't get my hopes high for a consistently cold weather since Australia's weather is famously known for being like a yoyo, it might be like winter today but tomorrow might be like summer.

I have been shopping again ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ. The items I'm about to show are bought in 3 different days.Last Tuesday I went to the unibar with my friend but unfortunately they check IDs nowadays and I didn't have my passport with me, should apply for a proof of age card soon.Then we went to dotti. My friend bought burgundy jeans and I bought this faux leather skirt. I hesitated whether to get it or not but since my friend was so pumped up to buy her jeans, her eagerness encouraged me to get the skirt as well.

Then, this Monday (which was the first day of uni), I went into dotti again and got a white shirt. This one was my favourite out of all the white shirts I browsed in many stores since the material is soft and the cutting was perfect for me. There was a 10 dollars discount, but to my dismay when I went into dotti again today, this shirt was on a 20 dollars discount, my heart ached over the wasted 10 dollars. Back in Malaysia, if a store was going to have a sale in few days time, the shop assistant would let us know and tell us to come back during the sale to get what we want, but sadly Australian sale assistants can't do that （ｉДｉ） *me cries.

I also went into target and spotted this pair of burgundy chino's. I went to try it on and presto! it fits perfectly on me! As a heavy bottomed person, I rarely look good in pants but this one does the trick. The pants are actually more red than what is shown in this picture.

This afternoon, le greedy me went into factorie. I wandered in the store for quite some time. I wanted to buy a dress but they don't have it in my size so I was quite depressed temporarily ⊙︿⊙. And then I spotted the lace sweaters and oh my god, they are so pretty and so soft ⊙０⊙! There were so many colours but I know I have a habit of buying the same item in few colours so I only allowed myself to go try on the purple one and the red one. I had trouble with the sizing because the sweater looks small but actually it isn't. So I went from XL to M to S until I eventually settled on an XS. Both the purple and red were beautiful, though purple was safer than red. My head wanted to say maybe I should go with the purple since it's a safer colour then I was like fuck it, red is awesome and I've never had a red sweater since I was 10.

The material reminds me a little bit of the Lover serpent dress. My favourite blogger from tumblr  http://aminuteawayfromsnowing.tumblr.com/ wore this Lover piece in one of her outfit posts and it looked absolutely devine on her.

When I went grocery shopping I also managed to buy Maybelline's babylips lip balm in berry flavour mainly because the design is so cute. The price is 3.99 which is an ok price for a lip balm. It works well on my lips, I used some lip balms in the past which were quite pricy yet still give me clumps. Mine's the third one with the pink cap.

Spent around 4 hours looking for a decent white shirt. Finally found one at French Connection, my friend almost killed me though :P. This is shirt is 24 dollars down from 130 dollars, greeeaaaat bargain. I really like the  shirt's material and the lace layering.

After watching Bowie perform "slip away" on jonathan ross show in year 2002 on youtube, the musician in me is craving for a stylophone. After watching Bowie performances, I always have the urge to perform or write songs. I checked the websites and a stylophone would cost me around 33 dollars including postage which I think is quite reasonable. So stylophone, please be mine. I'll only order it after february though.

Chinese New Year splurge

Today's the third day of chinese new year, my parents gave me the red packet and told me to use the money well, they didn't know I was gonna spend them all on clothes though :x . Went to rundle mall again.

So I got this isadora star tank again cause I was stupid enough not to test the shirt and then cut off the tags and strings before finding out the cutting of this shirt is much smaller than what I expected. Luckily this tank is $9.95. If it was full priced I would have to smack myself.

Just couldn't take my mind off this matilda spot shift dress, plus dotti is also having a 30% off full priced items, so :D. I got this in a size 10 instead of my usual size 8 since I like a looser fit of the dress and the shop assistant also mentioned about the cutting of the top being tighter. There was only one size 10 left and I checked the dress's seams very closely before getting it. I HATE it when I discover a bumped seam or a pulled thread on my clothes. I can say this is my favourite purchase from dotti ever! I've been wanting a nice black dress with long sleeves and a collar for a really long time.

Also got this adorable holiday bow belt. This belt is full priced so it also had a 30% off.

I intended to get the boo gathered blazer instead of this lulu blazer but it won me over since the boo gathered  blazer is semi see through. When I put it on, the colour reminded me of Blair Waldorf's old outfit, it's also on sale for $19.95 down from $89.95, great bargain.

This time I reminded myself to buy things for quality over quantity, so I stopped my old habit of barging in valleygirl and got into dotti instead since dotti's clothes have better designs and better quality. Today the shop assistant is really nice, the other one in the shop who I can tell is a senior always gives me a bad vibe everytime I see her though, weird me.Dotti is officially my favourite shop.This shopping trip is super satisfying, I have to say this again, can't wait for uni. One thing I'm really sure about, I spent too much money on clothes and now I should really take a rest on shopping. Until my birthday of course :).

Today I went to the mall,went into dotti and tried the black dress I mentioned in the last post. I really wanted to buy the dress since there's only one of my size left but I discovered the seam was abit faulty and it's not worth paying full price for a slightly faulty dress so I got some discounted items instead.They are:

All the items are $9.95 each, such a good bargain! I've been eyeing the skirt for months but I can't figure out why I didn't buy it earlier. But luckily I waited until today to buy it cause right now it's at it's lowest price ;). After dotti, I went to cotton on and bought a dress for $10. I already got the same dress in black and white. I like it a lot so I decided to get the dress in this colour too :).

Right now the majority of my clothes are neutral colours. I'm still in love with black and white :). And today's shopping trip was a real retail therapy too! Usually when I'm stressed my period would delay for months. After today's retail therapy, I instantly got my period and right now I'm so happy (such a weird reason to be happy about xD). I can't wait to go back to uni again!
