Oceans apart and it's heavy on my heart

I've abandoned my blog and also my personal diary since the beginning of the semester whuuttt, never happened before. Yea I guess accounting is stressing me a little, but I'm determined to do it well. I looked at my diary and I've only written 3-4 pages most this year :o, crazy compared to the hundred pages the year before. I don't think I should continue to stop writing, so I'm gonna write regularly again :).

I've just finished a korean tv series called "it's okay it's love" or "it's ok that's love", starring gong hyo jin and  jo in sung, both very charismatic. Gong hyo jin starred as Ji Hae So, a psychiatrist who has a fiesty temper who is "hard on the outside and soft on the inside"; whereas Jo In Sung acted as a famous novelist/ radio dj. Running man's Gwangsoo is also in this series, starring as park soo kwang, I lol-ed when I heard his name is soo kwang cause it is the exact opposite of his actual name hahaha. If you've watched running man before, it is quite hard to not laugh at gwangsoo in the first few episodes cause his every move reminds me of his silly acts in running man hahah xD. Ok back to the review, this is a tv show where you wouldn't find any annoying characters who are ignorable, each character has their own personality and would not be overshadowed by the main characters.  The whole series revolve around psychiatric related issues as well as family, friendship and love. I fell in love with the whole cast, that's all i can say.

Until next time. Adeus.

sesame mochi and herbal jelly bowl @ meetfresh

My favourite meal was the dessert i had at meetfresh :P.
Finally the exam craze is over, I do not want to be sick during an exam again, ever. This time is the first time I've had replacement exams and it'll be the last one too. The replacement exams, i dunno, i do really wish I'll pass, I should be able to do so. I need to work 200% this semester, I'm not quite there yet. Anyways, these pictures are from june during my birthday lol which is more than a month ago. Uni starts on monday. Well even if i do fail the subject i've had exemptions for some subjects so it wont affect my degree's pace, will still be able to graduate in july 2015 :/. I'm really bad in commerce subjects lol, need to work on my base to make sure i'm gonna do as well as students who already have a commerce background. Good luck myself!!!

My cleansing routine (etude house real art cleansing oil+ yadah bubble deep cleanser)

Currently I use two products for my daily cleansing routine. I got to know about this real art cleansing oil through a youtuber so young who owns a beauty channel so young's beauty room. I forgot which video she mentioned this product, she has been using this for a while and has good reviews on it so I made my purchase through honest skin as my other cleanser is running out. I was very happy when i found out there was a 20% off for members so i promptly ordered the cleanser together with a waterproof eyeliner from 3ce.
The cleanser itself is packed in a plastic box. The pump was packed with a plastic wrap and the bottle itself has a seal which i think is a great idea since this will prevent unwanted spills. And the packaging itself is also super cute hehe. Besides this moisturising one i ordered, the also have another "fresh" version which should be lighter and suitable for oily skin. My skin is kinda dry.
The pump comes with a stopper which will be handy for travelling and preventing any accidental spills (good thinking etude house ^^). I am quite satisfied with this cleanser, I use this to clean my eye makeup, as my mascara is quite hard to remove using normal makeup remover or cleanser. Comparing with my older cleansing oil from aesop, I seem to favour this etude house one.
Why?1) this one is much cheaper 2)both have about the same cleansing effect.
I give this product a rating of:
I didn't give it a full rating as I find that I need to use another cleanser to thoroughly clean up my face. But this does a damn good job cleaning waterproof eye makeup. I've inserted a link for those of you who are interested in this product.
When I don't put on mascara or just for my daily cleansing, I use this yadah bubble deep cleanser. So far this is the best daily cleanser I've came across. It doesn't give me the rough chemical feeling when I use it as opposed to some of the cleansers I've used in the past, usually I'm used to discomfort around the eye area when I accidentally catch some of the other cleansing product near my eye. But with this yadah cleanser, it didn't irritate my eyes nor skin. I haven't experienced any breakouts after using this product for almost half year. It is quite good at cleaning face makeup and eye makeup except mascara. Do not attempt to use this product as an all purpose cleanser or you will lose some lashes while trying to rub the waterproof mascara off lol. But other than that I give this product a thumbs up. If it was an all purpose cleanser I'd give it a full rating, but with that being said it is still the best daily cleanser I've came across so far.
Let me show you the cleansing effect of this product.
im using my 3ce creamy waterproof eyeliner here for demonstration purposes
this is the outcome after rubbing the eyeliner with the cleanser, i didn't mix in water as how i usually do it so it didn't clean up 100% only about 95%. But if you rub the product with a lil bit water it should do the trick.

My verdict:
I got my mom to buy this from malaysia, it is quite hard to find reasonably priced yadah products online, but if you live in malaysia, singapore, hongkong etc it should be quite easy to find this product at any sasa outlets.I do hope online beauty stores who ship internationally will store yadah products in the future.

I've been abit sick, and am now still sitting exams, had to defer one paper yesterday :( but should be fine soon. After exam I'd like to make some vlogs and haul videos and maybe song covers too ^^. And on the side note, i got called for a job interview, hope it goes well :D!

Shizuen cooks- easy agedashi tofu

My boyfriend made some agedashi tofu during his visit. Then he went back yesterday and I craved for some ageshi tofu, so i line-ed him and asked him how to make em. And now I have just devoured all of em and am truly satisfied.
Jaa-Jaaang!
To make them, you need:
1) tofu, portion depending on how much you want to eat, I used 1/4 of the usual square
2)kitchen paper/paper towel
3)glutinous rice flour白糯米粉/ farine de riz gluant
4)oil
5)sauce = soy sauce+ a little bit wasabi

Directions:
1) first cut out the portion of the tofu, don't cut them into small pieces first
2) cover the surface of the tofu with a kitchen paper, make sure the paper touches the whole surface, you can pat the tofu to make the process faster. I used 2 pieces of kitchen paper for this procedure. Make sure the kitchen paper is completely soaked, and the tofu appears drier.
4) cut the tofu into smaller pieces, ageshi tofus are usually bigger than the pieces I've cut.
5) put the cut tofus in a plate, pour the glutinous rice flour all over, make sure the tofus are covered with the flour on all sides. For reference, I'll show you the glutinous rice flour I used. You can usually get them from grocery stores in china town, some supermarkets may sell them too.

6) Heat up the oil in the sauce pan, use the same amount of oil as you would use for frying. I poured in 1/2 of the oil you'd usually need for frying as I don't want to waste any oil :P
7) I used a small sauce pan so i only put in about 4 pieces of tofu each time, remember to turnover the tofu after about 20 seconds of frying, as you use the same pan of oil for the frying, at the 3rd batch of tofu, remember to turn the tofus more frequently than you would for the first batch as now the oil is much hotter, if not you'll burn the tofus.
8) Last but not least :D plate up, I also put some kimchi on the side
9) You can prepare the sauce anytime, that is before you start frying or after, anything's fine. If you prefer a spicier sauce, put in more wasabi, if you don't like the taste of wasabi just use soy sauce.

The whole dish only took me less than 10 minutes from preparation to plating.
A plate of ageshi tofu is usually around AUD4.50 at sushitrain for a few pieces. If you want Ageshi tofu that looks like the ones they have in Japanese restaurants, cut up the tofu into bigger pieces, and use the regular amount of oil as you would for frying.

Enjoy ^^

I wanted to get a new dress at first, but didn't spot anything nice at a cheap price and didn't want to spend more time on dress hunting so i wore my lbd with a necklace i got from colette years ago for 5 bucks i think. I edited all these pics using vscocam on my phone, love the film like effects ^^, too bad they don't have a free version for computers oh well ^^.
